About the SONG
This song is about persevering through difficult times in a romantic relationship. The singer pleads with their partner not to abandon them despite the mistakes they've made, expressing they will hold on and make it through together. There is an emphasis on commitment, sticking together through hardships, and not giving up on the relationship. The singer is vulnerable, seeking forgiveness and spiritual support from their partner, who they see as a comforting rescuer. Overall the theme is weathering struggles in love by persisting and holding onto each other no matter what.
About the HUMAN-AI PROCESS
Our music creation process utilizes AI technology, including the OpenAI Jukebox model that was available until 2020. Since OpenAI discontinued support and development on Jukebox, we have configured our own setup to generate one-minute audio samples. Our server contains two Nvidia RTX 3090 GPUs that can each generate approximately 450 samples per batch. From these AI-generated samples, we curate the musical passages that sound the most coherent and contain a complete musical idea that can be developed into a full song. The lyrics are created using an AI lyrics App (from appstore). Our singer Polina then records a piano melody and basic song structure. We fit the AI-generated lyrics onto this instrumental demo to create a song prototype. Finally, we arrange and produce the track to complete the song.
