About the SONG
"Twilight" is a powerful pop anthem that takes the listener on an emotional journey. With scat language woven into the lyrics, it narrates an unstoppable pursuit of dreams and aspirations. It's a metaphorical dance between darkness and light, inspiring the listener to never give up.
The melody flows like a living stream, while the lyrics address and encourage the listener to find themselves within the music. What starts softly builds into an energetic rhythm, celebrating the strength of individual expression.
Inspired by cosmic and natural symbols, the track blends catchy melodies with a compelling message. The title itself, "Twilight" suggests that our dreams and desires are a universal melody that binds us in this sonorous journey.
About the HUMAN-AI PROCESS
Steps to create the song with AI
1st idea
The first step is to come up with an idea for the song. You can be inspired by other songs, films, books or simply your own thoughts and feelings.
In this case we chose a melancholic pop song with a strong message that makes you think.
2. Sample
In the next step, we'll use an AI music creation model to generate a beat. The model is trained on a pop music data set to recognize the patterns in the music. These patterns are then used to generate new music.
In this case, we used the MusicGAN AI model. MusicGAN is a generative adversarial network (GAN) that can be used to create music. GANs are a type of AI model consisting of two competing networks. One network, the generator, generates new data, while the other network, the discriminator, tries to distinguish between real and generated data.
MusicGAN was trained on a dataset of music consisting of audio files and sheet music. The model can be used to generate a variety of music genres.
The AI generated music is a good starting point for a song. It can be used to get an idea for the song and set the mood and atmosphere of the song.
3. Text
Now that we have a beat, we can move on to the lyrics. The lyrics are the most important part of a song as they convey the message of the song.
In this case we wrote the text ourselves. We thought about what message we want to convey with the song and what words and phrases we want to use to convey that message.
We also tried to write the lyrics to fit the beat. We wanted the lyrics to be catchy. Then we presented it to an AI bot and asked for suggestions for improvement, which we incorporated depending on our taste.
4. Arrangement
In the next step we arrange the beat and the lyrics to a song. Arrangement is the way the individual elements of a song are put together. It includes the melody, the harmony, the rhythm and the dynamics.
In this case, we divided the beat and lyrics into verses, choruses, and bridges. We also added additional elements like guitar, bass and drums.
We tried to make the arrangement fit the mood and atmosphere of the song. We wanted the song to be catchy.
We then edited the recordings in an audio editor to adjust pitch, volume and effects.
5. Mix
In this case we combined the individual elements of the song in an audio mixer. We tried to mix the individual elements in such a way that they complimented each other and enhanced the overall sound of the song.
6. Mastering
In this case we processed the mixed song with an AI mastering processor. We adjusted the volume of the song to bring it up to industry standards. The pitch, dynamics and effects of the song were adjusted.
We tried to master the song so that it sounds professional and sounds good on all platforms.
Human-AI interaction is an important part of the process of creating a song with AI. Humans must evaluate and adjust the AI-generated music to suit their own imaginations.
In this case, we evaluated the AI-generated music based on the following criteria:
Mood and Atmosphere: The music should convey a certain mood or atmosphere. For example, should it be happy, sad, energetic or dreamy?
Melody and Rhythm: The music should have a catchy melody and an appealing rhythm.
Harmony and Structure: The music should be harmonious, balanced and have a clear structure.
Instrumentation: The music should be instrumented with suitable instruments and sounds.
We then evaluated the AI-generated music against these criteria and provided feedback on how it could be improved. In some cases we have also made changes to the music ourselves.

Through this interaction, we were able to enhance the AI-generated music and customize it to our own liking. The result is a song created by both AI and us humans.
