About the SONG
The piece encapsulates the vision of AI as a bridge in the vast landscape of music. It stands as a testament to AI's capability to serve beginners, empower those with disabilities, and inspire even the most seasoned musicians. This composition is not just a melody but a representation of the inclusive and innovative power of AI in music.
About the HUMAN-AI PROCESS
Creating our song was a process defined by both AI-driven technology and human expertise. The foundation was laid using Transform XL for MIDI generation, providing the core structure upon which the song was built. GPT-4 and Llama2 played a pivotal role in lyric generation, utilizing advanced algorithms to craft words that fit the musical structure.
Vocal elements were incorporated using Kits.ai, ensuring the lyrics were delivered with precision and clarity. The initial performance was given by one of the team's vocalists then transformed into another voice. For the ambient and percussive components, Dance Diffusion was employed. This tool was pivotal in producing generative sounds, giving the track its unique auditory texture. This was further enhanced by training Dance Diffusion on a dataset of bird sounds, allowing for the integration of generative bird noises that added depth and nuance.
Throughout the process, traditional sound design techniques were employed alongside these AI tools, ensuring that the outputs were meticulously shaped and refined to meet the envisioned aesthetic. The end result is a track that stands as a testament to the capabilities of AI, yet retains the discerning touch of human expertise.
